Bigasoft iPhone Video Converter is a versatile video/audio converter program for iPhone, iPhone 3G, as well as iPhone 3GS, which supports wide range of video formats to convert.
The tutorial below will show you how to convert videos with Bigasoft iPhone Video Converter. After downloading and installing Bigasoft iPhone Video Converter, follow the steps below to accomplish the conversion tasks.
Step 1. Add Files
--Click “File” button and open its drop-down menu
--Select “Add File…” to import video/audio formats
--Choose the files you want to convert. See Fig. 1
NOTE: The supported video/audio formats including MPG, MPEG, MPEG2, VOB, MP4, M4V, RM, RMVB, WMV, ASF, TS, MKV, AVI, 3GP, FLV, MPV, MP3, MP2, AAC, AC3, WAV, MID, MIDI, WMA, M4A, RA, RAM.
Step 2. Set Output Settings
--Click the down arrow in the Profile file and select the output profile for your video output in the drop-down menu. See Fig. 2
--Click “Settings” button and edit the settings of your video/audio according to your need. The Help blank will show what each setting stands for. See fig. 3
--Click “Browse…”button in the main interface to set the output path of the converted video/audio.
Step 3. Video Editing
Step 3-a: Trim Video
--Click the “Trim” icon in the main interface and open the Trim window
--Set start time and end time of the trimmed video—three ways to go
--Method 1. Directly set the start time and end time in the Start Time/End Time box.
--Method 2. Directly drag the two scissors in the progress bar to the point that you want to start trimming and end trimming.
--Method 3. Directly click the two trim buttons under the progress bar in the point where you want to begin your trimming. See fig. 4
Step 3-b: Crop Video
--Click “Crop” icon in the main interface and enter the Crop window.
--Set the Zoom Mode if you need to. You will have four choices: Keep Original, Full Screen, 16:9, and 4:3.
--Crop the video, two ways to go.
--Method 1. Directly adjust the crop frame (the dash line around the movie video) to crop the video.
--Method 2. Set the crop values directly, Top, Bottom, Left, and Right. And you can preview the cropped effect accordingly. See fig.5
Step 3-c: Join Videos
--After add several files that you want to merge them into one file, open the “Option” menu in the main interface and set accordingly. As default, the merged file is named after the first selected file. See fig. 6
Step 4. Take Snapshot
--If you wan to capture your favorite pictures from the video, you can directly click the camera icon under the progress bar and take snapshot of that scene.
--Click the “Folder” icon to choose the output path of the snapshot if you do not like the default one. See fig. 7
--Or you can Click “Preferences” button in the main interface to edit the advanced settings of the image you’ve captured. See fig. 8
Step 5. Start Conversion
--After all the settings have done, just simply click the “START” button and start your conversion.
--Before starting conversion, you can click “Preferences” buttons to edit the settings related to the conversion, including the output path of converted video, the actions taken after conversion as well as the CPU usage. See fig. 8
